Relaxation of certain rules of wedding etiquette

That is not the rule of wedding etiquette see only losing its influence, however. Once upon a time, the outcast of the bride's mother or sister of the bride or any other person in the immediate family of the bride to host the bridal shower, but today nobody seems to care. I can understand the relaxation of this rule, as it is rare that the Ministry of Health or the east bridal  live far from the bride or her family. And if your bridesmaids are her sisters, then what? Other rules of wedding etiquette that apparently no longer have much influence (if the message boards I read are any indication) include asking specifically for cash instead of gifts, dressed in white for Wedding Dresses and non Second -No ... and those are just the rules of the bride and groom.

I think part of the reason behind the relaxation of certain rules of wedding etiquette is that nobody taught them more. Another part may be refusal to follow the rules for the sake of rules, and may even be that people just do not care much about good manners anymore. I admit I'm glad to see some rules to go, like all the ridiculous rules about not wearing white and the rule which says that the Mafia can not host the shower even though wholesale dress is perfectly positioned to be the host. But asking for cash? Including registration information on an invitation? That just lets me know that you are more concerned about getting a gift that you are with the answer in my RSVP card. Or I'm just being too old fashioned?
